Below is an excerpt from a letter we received following a school group this year.
I have now led/been part of 15 school residential visits to the IOW with Tirlebrook and my previous school, Tewkesbury C of E Primary. This year’s visit was one of my absolute favourite visits. It was Ben, Lucy and Nadia’s first ever Tirlebrook IOW residential and they all left claiming it to be one of the very best experiences of their lives and certainly the very best school experience that they had had. Many things contributed to this including our fantastic children, the great weather (it was awful in Tewkesbury!), and the numerous stunning attractions that make the IOW such a special place. But right at the top of that list would be The Wighthill Hotel and more specifically, hiding behind the hotel name, Diane, Mark and David. You do a fantastic job and I just want you to know that.
We would love to return next year (I know we’ve talked already about the possibility of bringing the trip forward to earlier in June if a week becomes available) and if you are willing to have us, please can we reserve the corresponding week in 2023-2024.
