Group Bookings
The Wighthill works with the island’s educational visit providers. These groups normally follow their own agenda. We provide the accommodation with secure exclusive use of the hotel. All meals are catered for and we provide workspace areas to support learning.
Accomodation
The Wighthill group accommodation areas are in the main hotel rooms. Group staff are accomodated in hotel rooms and self catering cottages. There is also a dedicated Bunkhouse with en suite bathrooms and attached is a staff bedroom with seperate en suite facility.
We also work independently with private education providers, and can assist with planning and booking events and visits during the stay.
Recent College Group Visit
The Art Department at Winchester College had a highly successful trip with us. The group succeeded in achieving their goals of working directly within inspiring coastal environments whilst reducing their carbon footprint
"I cannot speak highly enough about how Mark, Diane and the team looked after our group. A wonderful level of professional care that made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. They fully understood the specific practical requirements of our trip and learning aims and worked with us to facilitate these brilliantly".
Michael Bruzon. Head of Art. Winchester College
Recent School Group Visit

I have now led/been part of 15 school residential visits to the IOW with Tirlebrook and my previous school, Tewkesbury C of E Primary. This year’s visit was one of my absolute favourite visits. It was Ben, Lucy and Nadia’s first ever Tirlebrook IOW residential and they all left claiming it to be one of the very best experiences of their lives and certainly the very best school experience that they had had.
Simon Lockley. Headteacher at Tirlebrook Primary School. Tewkesbury.
